15 years after Nessie was born, The Cullens move away from their nice home in Montreal, Canada and back to Forks. Jacob stayed there with his pack since Edward would not let him near Nessie. but their back and Nessie's and Jake's imprint can't last if they aren't together, the imprintation brings the together again and Renesmee hardly remembers him, but she knows he is something special to her. So they sneak around a bit, out of Cullens watchful gaze, and they start to fall in love, but the family finds out about it, and Edward and Bella aren't to happy.
Meanwhile, there are two new cullens members added to the clan, They were changed 10 years ago as brother and sister. So they aren't newborns. Claire is grown up and is 16 now, she has taken favor to her father's side, which means she is a werewolf. Her first love was Quill Alterra, but he had died earlier on and their imprint was broken, and when she meets the new Cullen boy she instantly imprints with him, Claire finds out that they can't stay away from each other, no matter how much they want to, When the Cullens find out they are to happy that two of their own have imprinted with the werewolves. The pack isn't happy about it either, but it happened and there's no undoing it. The Cullens are also trying to keep him away from Claire too, just like they are trying to keep Renesmee away from Jacob. So Renesmee and her uncle team up and go against their family. They start sneaking around, seeing their loved ones, But the Cullens are aware of their absence and are getting pretty suspicious.
Later, Maria comes to visit the Olympic Coven, her eyes are set on jasper again. She finds out that he is married to Alice and that they are inseparable from each other. maria moves into Washington to steal her Jasper back, she spends some time with him and it's getting hard for jasper to decide what to do, he loves Alice, but he couldn't ignore his first love maria. He doesn't know what to do, and when Maria threatens his family, he has a hard time decided which team he is on. Alice notices this and sees the future happen, and she is not happy, she sets off after Maria and things get sticky.
The Cullens are getting mixed up in all this drama, between the imprinting problem and the maria problem, they have their hands full and don't realize that the Voultri are not happy about their amount of vampires, they think 11 is to much for a family, and there are to many gifted ones in it too. So they are getting ready to come to Forks while all the rest of this drama is going on. Alice can't see them coming because she is too blinded by rage for Maria that she is unfocused. things are getting spicy in the small town of Forks, and the Cullens are put into immortal danger worse than they have ever faced.
